“I approached ESHARA in search of employment, and the Care Coordinator there provided me with an assessment form to detail my needs and job preferences…The Care Coordinator assisted me in crafting my resume and explored various job roles with me, asking if I would be interested in cooking for the students, washing dishes, or serving food…With the Care Coordinator's help, I successfully applied for and secured a kitchen position...where I currently work…I am deeply grateful to the ESHARA team for their invaluable support and for making this possible for myself and family.”

“Over the few years ESHARA has been able to reach so many unreached segments of the FM community to find resources and advocate on their behalf. ESHARA Partners are able to collectively relay and strengthen our messages, increase our program effectiveness, share resources, and advocate and educate government agencies and nonprofit sectors....to help new Americans access resources and integrate into the mainstream community becoming self-sufficient. ESHARA's Care Coordinators continue to be ‘foot soldiers’ in connecting communities and overcoming linguistic, cultural, and economic barriers in refugee and immigrant communities.”

At ESHARA, we are dedicated to transforming lives.. In 2023, we made a significant impact on more than 1,450 new American families in the Fargo-Moorhead area, working hand in hand with our partners.

Our Care Coordinators directly supported 850 unique individuals, helping 528 adults find and secure meaningful employment. This vital support includes career assessments, case management, job search assistance, resume building, job placements, and specialized training such as English language courses and certifications for specific career paths.

In 2022, ESHARA received the Youthprise East African Youth Economic Development grant in collaboration with the Afro-American Development Association. This enabled us to connect with 35 youth, guiding them towards career exploration and equipping them with essential skills for higher education and future employment success.

Join us in making a difference. Together, we can continue to empower and uplift our community, one individual at a time.
